Question Trxus Mud 34s on 97-03

do you think a 34/12.50/16 would fit on my 1999 f150 4x4...perhaps with a little bit of a torsion crank on the stock keys and an add a leaf in the rear??
im currently running 285/75/16s and i really want a wider taller tire but im too much of a cheap bastard to get a lift

ive read about people with 35s on a 3 in body lift or a 6in susp. lift...
dont know if 34s would rub or not with a poor mans lift

I am pretty sure I have seen members on here with the torsion bars cranked way up and possibly an add-a-leaf too running 35's....so if its a 34 I am sure it could probably be done. With the newer trucks people dont seem to have a problem running 35's with just a leveling kit.

You can fit them using the oem wheels.

Member ACM8705 has 35's on aftermarket wheels with torsion keys and an Add-a-leaf....so ask him. I don't know how high he has those keys cranked though.

The backspacing of most wheels with width stick the tires out of the fender wells. That will cause rubbing. If you have wheels that have the same as oem specs, they will fit. They just wont stick out past the fenders. I think they would be fine on your wheels. Not sure though.

Yep, wheel width and backspacing are just as important to fitment as tire size. If you use an aftermarket wheel with a 34x12.50, it will have to be very close to the OEM wheel's size.
