2004 F150 rear brake replacement
I'm changing out the rear disc brakes and there is a spring type of clip that is on the outer brake disc. Before I took the brakes off, I checked both sides and each were different on the placement of the spring clamp. One side had it under the disc slide bar so it looked like a spring and the other side had it behind the disc slide bar as if to prevent the disc from jumping up when brakes applied. Anyone know which is correct?
As I was installing the brakes it appears that the clip stays below the disc brake slide.
