how much are they worth?

I took the OEM 20" wheels and Pirelli Scorpions off of my truck and would like to sell them. Anyone have any idea what they are worth? Can't seem to get a solid number.

Most people have been getting $1000-12000/set with a couple thousand miles.

highvoltage, if you sold them for less than $900, you lost money, if you bought your truck new you paid $895 for them as an option.

You lose money either way. The wheels/tires cost $900 extra over the 17" or 18" standard wheels based on trim level. Most people buy the truck on the lot i nthe configuration/color and as many options they want. Even if it means paying for extra stuff they want to replace with aftermarket, selling off the OEM stuff offers some money to go torards the aftermarket parts. I doubt anyone selling the OEM 20s are putting on cheaper tire/wheel combos.

Hmm, make that $1000-1200 most commonly reported on here.

basically what I'm saying is this, why would you pay $895 for an option that you planned to take off and replace, and then sell that option for less than you paid for it. That would be down right stupid. If that were the case, why not order the vehicle with standard tires/wheels at no extra charge if you knew you were going to replace them.

In my case,

I sold only my wheels for $800. I'm still using the crap Pirellis until I have enough to buy some Nittos.

Also, I originally had no plan on selling my 20" OEM wheels or tires or doing anything to my truck until I discovered this site and then everything went to hell! Especially my wallet!

Because 95% of buyers take whatever a dealer has on their lot. No one wants to wait 6-12 weeks to get exactly what you want. The dealer/incentives games usually means you pay more for ordering the exact same truck vs. picking off a lot.

I guess I'm in the other 5% then. When I'm getting ready to shell out 40K for a truck I'm not going to "settle" for something I dont want just because its on the lot. For that kind of money I would wait 20 weeks to get exactly what I wanted. To each his own though.
