Winters Comming

So the way the weather seems to be going here, it probably wont be much longer till the snow starts to fly. What im curious about is how good my tires are going to be in snow/ice. Right now i have toyo open country M/T's and i dont know if i should be leaving them on for the winter, or swapping them out to the tires that came with the truck (BFG rugged trail's if i remember correctly). Im sure the M/T's will do goods in snow but im not sure on ice. What would you guys suggest.

The BFG will probably do better on ice, but neither will be great. Snow tires of course will work best.

Similar question. I'm still running my stock tires on an 05 KR. It's time for new tires and I was wondering what everyone would suggest. I do no off roading, and I live in South East PA, so we get snow, but not a ton of it. I'm thinking all season would be fine. Any suggestions on brand and model? Oh yeah, I do a good bit of highway driving.

UnConsundrum, a good all-season will be the best on-road tire with a good AT next. The best values for stock 18" tire size are Firestone Destination A/T and Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor.
