Super swampers

Can anyone tell me anything on the Super Swamper Trxus tires? I thought I had it narrowed down to the Toyo Open Country AT and the Nitto Terra Grapplers, however someone broght up the Trxus tires. I like the aggressive look, but have not heard much about them.

Input?

they are aggressive but honestly man the tread is too close to clean out the tires if you're mudding. you'd be better off going with the xtreme a/t's. guy behind me has the terra's on a dodge dakota and they aren't wearing worth a crap.

here's some pics of some a/t we had had come through here. here's some pics (33x12.50r15)

Have the swampers handled well in the rain and snow, compared to nittos and toyos?

The Toyo AT and the Nitto Terra Grappler have basicly the same tread pattern because Nitto is made by Toyo. The Nitto's have a more aggressive looking sidewall and that's about the biggest difference. Both of these tires would perform better in the rain and snow compared to the Interco tire which may be suited more for offroad use. I have a set of Toyo AT's and don't let the "Plain Jane" sidewall's fool you, they can do everything my BFG AT's can do.

You wont find a better at or mt that handle better on the road then the toyo at, toyo mt, or nitto terra grapplers.

Neither the Truxus MT or AT is a great tire.

if you want the BEST tire, i don't think you can beat the toyo open country m/t. got a buddy with them on a nissan titan (35/12.5R18) and he's got right at 56k miles on them right now with about 1/4 tread left. not too shabby.

i know the pics aren't great, but i hope they help you make a decision. the tread is too close in my opinion. they MIGHT be good in sand, but i don't know.

They handle well in rain, no experience with snow yet.

Thanks, I am leaning towards the Toyo MT, however I cannot find anyone who has used them in light snow. I also just found out tire prices jumped 5% as of 10/1/07.
