What pressure are you running these at? I just got them today, and the shop recommended 40 psi. Just curious if you had a different number.

The shop I had install them put them at 40 as well. I'm now running 36 in back and 38 in front. I've been playing with the pressure and slowly reducing it. These seems to be the magic numbers with damn close to full tread contact on the road.

Did you see any issues with keeping them at 40? Was it wearing them unevenly?

Other than it being a bit of a harsher ride, and that the treads (especially on the back) weren't making full contact with the road (which WILL lead to uneven wear), no, no issues. Most people run with too much pressure in their tires IMO.

How are you liking the tires BTW? I was shocked by how quiet they are.

I like the Toyo AT's.

Not as much as the MT's though.

I just got them this morning, but the drive home was quite unexpected. The "shake" I had previously is totally gone. The truck rides as smooth as glass, as it used to before the tires got worn out. Say, you think that me being a 2WD would make a bunch of difference if I went with 38 front/36 rear pressures? I see (now) that your truck is 4WD.

How much treadwear you have after 13k kilometers?

I'm not sure that if a 4x4 or 4x2 makes any difference to be honest. The inside door sticker recommends 35 psi to the best of my recollection. Your truck will be a lil lighter than mine so you may even want to go with less air by a tad. You'll have to figure that part out though. I guess Ford engineers have that rating for a reason, but these aren't the tires the truck came with so I'm willing to bend that rule a bit.

Yes, I noticed the smooth ride right away, but the most immediate noticable difference for me was how quiet they were, especially after driving with the OEM General Americraps for some time. At 80 km's the hum was very annoying.

I got to feeling around behind my front two tires, and man, there hardly any clearance between the tire and the suspension bits closest to it! Can't get a finger in between the two.

What size did you get? I have 275/70/17's.
Oh, and I haven't noticed any tread wear to date. I guess I have about 14,000 km's on them now.

The BFG KO's are a great tire, most will love it, especially in mud But as Zaairman said the Revo's come in LT"s and in my opinion are a tougher tire in rocks. Both should wear about the same.

I have the Pro Comp Xtreme AT's and am extremely pleased with them. I have about 11k miles on them right now and they still look brand new. They are a very aggressive looking tire, yet are very quiet on the road. I plan on putting another set on when these ones wear out.
