want to replace my OEM goodyears

I am looking to replace the factory goodyear wrangler rt/s that came on my 03 heritage edition f150 with AT tires cause they're crappy. A buddy of mine mentioned General Grabber AT2s (265/70/17) and after a little research I found out that they are not that expensive. Would love some input including success and/or horror stories about these.

While I can't comment about the General's your thinking about, I can say, just about ANYTHING is an improvement over those RT/S's.

I've had good luck with Michelin LTX A/T and M/S's on my old heritage trucks, plus Cooper Discoverer ATR's are a good one too.

You might want to check out Goodyear Wrangler AT/S. I had them on my 2000 F-150 (LT265/70/17) and had no problems. I currently have them on my 2004 F-150 (OEM LT275/65/18) with 75,000 mi and still plenty of tread wear left. I do rotate them every 6,000 mi.

I run the General Grabber AT2's on my 04 SCrew, and a coworker has them on his 99 SCab. We both have nothing but praise for them. I purposely drove in a mudhole in a field and got stuck in 2wd. Turned the switch for 4wd and climbed out barely spinning a tire.

Just put the Wrangler silent armors on my truck a week ago. So far they have been excellent. Can't get over how quiet they are at highway speeds for a true all terrain tire. It was a toss up between them and the Goodrich T/A's.
