305/55/20 on 10x20

Does anyone have 305/55/20 tires on 10x20 rims? They will be on a 2004 F-150 4x4 with a 2.5" leveling kit and I don't know if they will rub. If they rub what mod's have to made? I have 305/50/20 on now and they rub at full turn in reverse. Any information is great. Thanks

from what i read the backspacing is gonna be the issue. if you can get something similiar to oem backspace they should fit fine, but if you want them to stick out, then you will probably have to trim the corners on the valance and maybe a piece outta your flares if you got them. there's a lot of guys running this combo, they'll chime in im sure

They are gonna be an inch taller than the 305/50-20's you have now, so you should be able to see what you need to trim. Where are your tires rubbing now?

I have 305/55/20 on factory 20's. I do not have a leveling kit, stock height, and these tires are not even close to rubbing the fender, bumper, lower valance, wheel well. These tires have a diameter of 33.2" and the height is not close to being a problem for me, since your truck is lifted you may even want to go with a 35". The 33's fill out my fender perfectly, they may look small with the leveling kit. The width however does cause them to rub slightly on the control arm at FULL lock, it is very minor and I almost have to try to make them rub.

I had the 305/55/20's mounted and they look awsome! They rub in the same place as the 50's (at full turn reverse on the back side of my fender flare. Thanks to everyone who replied. I am new to the site and will post a picture in the near future.

Here she is with her new shoes. I think to "55's" were the right move, they filled in my wheel wells just right. Thanks for all the info. Next mod is the grill, any suggestions?
