Where is the jack for this truck? Do I need a torque wrench to put the tire back on?
If it's a Super Cab the jack and lug wrench are located under the rear passenger side seat.

I'm hoping the rotors are not warped because I think the Ford warranty is 12/12 on that but not sure
Brakes are not normally covered unded the warranty unless there is a failure of the components which lead to premature wear. But don't quote me on this.

Lug nut torque specs for this truck is 150 ft/lbs.

150 ft lbs? Wow, better check and make sure. Like I said, most times it's cast into the rim along with part number and such.

Brakes are covered for 12/12 months. Rotors are covered for 36/36

Yep. Them's is the specs, already checked into it. I'ts right in the owners manual. This is of course for the 2005 model year. I would assume it would be the same for 04' and newer as well.

Talking

Ill be another to say how great these pads are. 1 week and 500 miles, not a lick of dust. And I really like the way the blue looks through my wheels.

Mines an 04 FX4 Screw and its BMD1011, but that depends on the 11th letter of the VIN, its either like K,B,M i think. mine was a K.

Not sure how all that matters etc. but Im hoping its right. It was 55 before taxes for pads. THey def. are blue, the guy tried to tell me that ceramics they offer have even less dust, but after reading on here. I stuck with the semi's.
Got 2 new rotors, mine have been turned, and pair of pads for 178 out the door, after the guy gave me a $10 discount cuz of not making them turn my rotors. Which was pointless.

So, replaced my old front pads/rotors both with Carquest Blue Semis and Carquest rotors. After tearing into my old ones I realized that with 87k they were still the stock fronts. Lets just say not good. After getting done, did a little break in driving then took it to a car wash to powerwash the old brake dust off. Next is to take the rims off and clean them all up again since no more excessive dust.
So far only drove about 10miles but love um already.

Are you noticing improved stopping? Is it a big difference?

I mean over what I had, heck yes. The stock rotors were so warpped and the pads were well into the last 1/3 of pad left. The pedal response is wayyy better, no shimmying, and much better bite.

Now I can not comment on what the difference would be over any other pads/rotors, but over my worn down stocks, a million times better.

I looked at my rears when I did my fronts and my rears are perfectly fine, rotors looked/felt smooth, pads didnt look too bad, overall, waiting til Spring to change those, for cost and also just because I dont feel they need done right now.

I highly recommend the setup. I didnt get my rotors turned because they were in such bad shape, I just bought OEM replacements, but I dont do any hauling or anything hardcore.
