Good Year Silent Armor

Does anyone have Goodyear wrangler silent armors out there? I'm so tired of looking at tires. I have an 04 lariet 2wd and these seem to fit the bill. I have always stayed away from Good for a year but they are restructuring and in need of a comeback. Is this their ace in the hole? Any opinions would be great. Thanks.

i had them on my truck for 2 years, then moved them over to the wife's expedition.

they are great tires. i'll be buying another set when they wear out. nice ride, great wear, and very quiet.

I feel like I memorized the entire tire rack web site and all I got was confused. Too much info. I was about to get BFG long trail because they were oem, some folks like em,and I just figured go with what I know and spend the next 3 years figuring out what to get next. I have 31,600 miles and they are not in great shape. Will never see 40,000. Toyo looked good but I try to stay usa. I was not interested in anything from Goodyear except a gaterback belt and a garden hose. I'm glad I put my prejudice aside and will be getting them mounted tomorrow morning. I stayed with 265-60-18. I'll let you know tomorrow night if I'm ecstatic or not. Bless this site! It's saved me alot of $$$ and frustration. A million heads are better than one. $ 755.00 for everything. cash deal.

Goodyear has always been good for me, no problems. The silent armors are better still, so get them and be happy. I can't say enough about them, everybody likes them on my truck too so can't argue with them

you'll like those tires. we put 25k on them, and the wear isn't really noticeable. they're nice.

i even drove through some deep sand at glamis with that width of tire, pulling a trailer, with no traction issues.

good luck

i have some... stock (275/65/18) and so far i havent had a complaint. i have 9,000 mi. on them. the only thing that might be questionable is the wet traction. sometime when i am starting from a dead stop, there is a little and i mean little slip. not much. easy to break loose, but quick to grip. if you know what i mean. but definitleu get the road hazard.

Wow is all I can say. These tires are quiet and if you don't believe me I'll take ya for a ride! I checked them out pre mount and could just tell the quality since they were sitting next to a set of destinations and revos and damn those sidewalls are nice! Looks like alot of work to detail though. I'll just have to forget using endurance gel and stick with a spray shine. Strong side wall, good wear rating and a nice deep tread. Thanks for the vote of reinsurance guys during my times of trial and tribulations

I'm also going with the silent armours. I've had the BFG MT's for 60k now and I'm sick of the noise. Especially loud now that they're wore out.
