Help With Wheels

I Have A 2006 Dark Stone 4 Door Lariat F150 With Black Leather.
Right Now I Have A 2.5 Inch Leviling Kit On It . I Was Wondering If You Guys Think That Black Wheels Would Look Good On It.

i would go with a polished or chrome wheel. alot more work to keep them looking good but would really set off your dark color.

Both will look great. I like black wheels best on black and gray/silver trucks but the Darkstone looks like a brownish gray color to me. Do you have a 4x4 or 4x2?

Not exactly an answer to your question, but i will share my experience so that it might help your wheel search. The reason is because, although I love my wheels, the ones I have were my 47th choice.

First, know your lug pattern. I think yours is 6X135, but not positive. Go to a tire site online and punch in your truck, and it will tell you what you need.

Second, know your minimum backspacing. This will ensure everything clears your knuckles. And you need to understand how wide the rim is, and if it will stick out a lot or a little.

Third, know what size rim you want. I wanted 20", and at that time, I had about 20% less choices than if I selected 18".

Fourth, select about twenty different wheels that meet your lug, BS and size requirements, and take that list to your wheel guy. You'll be able to find out what choices are in stock, or on backorder, or discontinued, or a million other things. That way you don't end up doing one wheel at a time and could take to summer '09.

Lastly, have fun. It's nerve racking, trying to pick something out from a bunch of pictures, but having to decide without probably seeing them in person, and they are expensive, so you want to make the right choice the first time. Another reason I vote for staying local with all these modifications. My shop got me some wheels in for me to look at first before buying them, and went through that process three times. Couldn't do that online. Although, there are some online sites that have the vehicle/wheel choice software for viewing.

Good luck...
