Toyo vs. BFG Tires Fitment ?

I know similiar questions to this one have been asked, but maybe not this specific. I'm looking at replacing the tires on my 05 Lariat 4x4. I want to keep the factory 18" wheels and I'm going to install a set of bilstein leveling shocks in the front and either a 1.5" AAL or block in the rear.

Which of these would give me the best fitment and look.

BFG AT 305/65/18 which works out to be 33.6x12x18

vs.

Toyo MT 33x12.5x18
or
Toyo MT 35x12.5x18

The Toyo's are correct on the height but are in reality 13" in width.

Anyone with pictures please respond. I do not want to do any cutting or spacing to "make" the tires fit.

i drive a 05 screw lariat 4x4. I have the 2" AS leveling kit, and I had the 305/65/18 BFG all terrains on my stock rims, I just traded them in for the 35x12.5 BFG muds, and I experience no rubbing, I run the tires at 35 psi, and I went to a parking lot and tried to turn and they did not rub at full lock, it was weird because I was expecting them too, but I guess that all trucks were made a little diff. but honestly my 305's looked a little wider than the mud terrains, and the tire guy explained the all terrians had a wider stance because the mud terrains cut in a little right at the tread, but I could not be happier, and I dont think that I lost that much power cause the all terrains were a E ply and weighed like 70 pounds and the Muds are D ply and weigh like 65 lbs. So it feels the same but the tires are taller and more aggressive looking. I would recommend the BFG muds, plus I read a thread earlier that said the guy experienced rubing with the 35 toyo muds, Bfg are actually 34.8 tall and only 12.5 inches wide on a 10 inch rim, so they are a little smaller but that means less rubbing, hope this helps.

You will have some minor rubbing on the control arms at full steering lock with the 35x12.50 Toyo MT's. Nothing major, but it seems to annoy some people.

I could not agree more, both are excellent tires, and I would have actually gone with the Toyos if BFG was not goign to give me credit on my all terrians. My only point was that the BFG is Technically. by its specs slightly smaller than the toyo which may cause less rubbing, but both are great tires and cant go wrong with either one.

Thanks for all your replies. I'm having the shocks installed today. I still have to order the aal. I have about 42,000 on the oem goodyear at/s tires, so as soon as they wear out I will purchase the new tires.

Just have to decide if I want a m/t or an a/t tire. Really comes down to the BFG 305 or the Toyo 33". I checked toyo's website and there is an almost 10lb. difference between the 35" and 33". Same with BFG vs. 35". I don't think I can live with my truck if it becomes any slower than it already is.

A CAI and a tuner should wake that up.
