305/65/18 tire pressure
I decided on a tire size after reading all the threads with a 2" leveling kit and went with 4 new bilsteins with the 2" leveling, and had new bfg 305/65/18 on oem wheels, I check the tire pressure and it is 65 psi seems a little high what should I run in them thanks.

Raising an old thread but, how has 40psi been for tread wear? Is it even across the entire tread width?
I have mine at 40 as well, and the ride is fine but I notice that the back tires don't quite fully contact the road across the entire tread width. My narrower Firestones (275's) did the same thing on the rears, obviously because there's less weight on them, but I just want to make sure since these 305's are specified for a slightly wider wheel.

Okay, thanks Wandell.
I just went out to check the pressure and all 4 tires were at 43psi, but it's very mild today. I dropped the fronts down to 40 and rears down to 38. They look better now because the entire tread looks like it's making full contact, plus the temperature will drop again anyway bringing them down a lil further yet.

How many miles have you put on them?
Do the chalk test. Get some kids sidewalk chalk, I liked the blue since it's most visible. Mark all the tires completely across, making sure to get all the grips, then drive for about 100 yards in a strait line. Observe where the chalk has been rubbed off. I did this yesterday and determined that the fronts at 41 psi are perfect, all rubbed off except about a 1/4 inch on each edge. I have the rears at 40 and they looked great, too. There was a small amount, ~ 1/2 inch, not touched on the outside and inside edges, but not much at all. All four were equal.
305/55/20's. 41 psi front, 40 psi rear.
