2003 FX4 305 on stock wheels?

OK, I have seen a ton of helpful tips and I think I am leaning on upsizing to 305 size, but can I put them on a stock FX4 rim?

Also, I see most recommendations are for a 2" AS kit. I have seen kits for the front and back. Are both front and back recommended or do I just need the front cams?

Any help or recommendations would be great. If anyone has pictures of a '00-'03 FX4 with 305 on stock wheels, I'd like to see them too.

I have one picture in the gallery for reference, I can't seem to get it in my signature block yet. I'm lost here guys and just want to get set to improve the look, stance and performance

Thanks

I'm another noobie on this site soaking up all the info, but I just put 285/70 on stock 17's and they clear in full lock, but not by much. A 305 is gonna be taller and wider, you might have a problem with no mods.

I'd wait for the veterans to post their answers before I do anything

If you are talking about a 305/65-17 (33x12.50) or a 305/70-17 (34x12.50), they will fit fine using the oem wheels. Also, you don't need a leveling kit for your truck. The ride height on the 97-03 4x4's is adjustable by cranking up the preload on the torsion bars.

yep, my t-bars are cranked (with 285's) but plan on going up to 295 or 305's next time around.

Great news. I wasn't sure if that was the case. I know they make cams with more lift, but with 305/65's I didn't know what would happen.

I recently had to do rod ends and when I got aligned, the tech said my torsion bar was bent. Maybe I will have to do some other replacenets to make it work?

I might be some time now, but I'll post some photos (in the day time) once i get them on.

I just had BFG 305/65R17's put on my '02 yesterday. I have spent the better part of the last week researching the same topic. I have created a gallery so others can see more pictures.

Really happy with them. I was worried they would be too wide, but in the end I was a little disapointed and wanted more. It was however amazing how much they improved the look of the truck. At almost 6 years old and
100k on the speedo, it is nice to be looking at my truck with admiration again.

BTW......$259/tire out the door.

I appreciate the photos. That saves me some time and grief.
