stock 17 to16 inch?

stock 17 to16 inch?

first off truck is a 98 4x4 lariat with 17x7.5 stock wheels, truck sits level can i go with a 16x10 thinking old type wagon wheels, but want em to stick out some. any ideas if the rims will fit. what back spacing do i need and tire ideas?? thanks for the help

You'll want a 10" wide wheel with -25 offset or a 9" wide wheel with -12 offset. A 10" wide wheel will put the tread even with your OE fender flare, a 9" wide wheel will put the bulge of the tire even with the OE flare.
