second step

i just bought a PA 3" body lift and now i am trying to figure out what tires and wheels to get... i want 35s and i am willing to cut. i just dont know anything about spacing.. can some gine me wheels and tires 101?
ANY halp is appreciated

off set is how far back the mount is from the wheel face, and the backspacing is how far the wheels stick in to the inside of the truck.

and tire size is:

section width / % of side wall / rim diameter

Someone correct me if im wrong on the rims

You want a rim with 4.5" of backspacing with a 35x12.5 tire

thanks yall . keith, i was hoping you help me out cuz i know you have a similar set up. what size wheels should i look at? and can i do the cutting myself or do i need to send it to a shop?

I have 16x10 with 4.5" of backspacing. They look good. It is just cutting plastic, you should be able to do it.

Going from the oem 17x7.5 or 16x7 wheels to a 10 inch wide wheel is going to give your truck a wider stance.

does a ten inch wheel cost more? and whats a good CHEAP 35 inch all terrain tire that fits a 16 inch wheel with 4.5'' back spacing plus ten inch wide?

You can get nitto terra grapplers, toyo at, mickey thompson atz, pro comp xtreme at, bfg at ko, or **** cepek fcII

The Nitto's are an excellent tire and usually have good prices. For wheels, I'd suggest looking at Eagle Alloy, Mickey THompson and Pro Comps. 4Wheel Parts carries most of these.

Cheapest prices you will find anywhere is tirepackage.com The nitto terra grapplers are probably your cheapest a/t tire
