Difference between a M/T and a A/T Tire.

I was wondering how much difference is there between Mud tire such as the Toyo Open Country M/T is there from an All terrain tire such as the Toyo A/T or the Nitto TG in the mud? and on the road?

Thanks

THe MT's will work much better offroad in the mud. THe AT's will work better on the highway.

Yeah the name says it all, although new technology is making MT's more and more road worthy. Also, as a general rule you will get more mileage out of a AT than an MT.
