35x12.5 with stock rims?

35x12.5 with stock rims?

Can i run 35x12.5 tires on my stock Ford 17'' rims with a 6'' Fabtech lift?

4Wheel Parts says i cant but i know I've seen it done before. They say I need new rims because there isnt enough backspacing on the stock ones. Is that right or can i run them with stock rims?

Strange. The OEM 97-03 wheels have 4.5 inches of backspacing, just like almost every aftermarket wheel for them.

Its going on a 2005 F150 rim not the F250. So there is enough backspacing?

So I can mount a 35 on my stock rim and use it for a spare even with a Fabtech 7.5" lift.

I mean just for that, you would probly be okay.....as long as 17's clear the brakes.
