Tire Size

Can anyone tell me what the biggest tire I can put on my stock 2000 EXT Cab 4x4?? I am in need of some new tires and I hate the way the stock 235/70/16 look they look like toy tires on such my truck. I also don't want to go so big that it screws up my speedo and shift points, unless someone can tell me how to fix these afterwards.

a 285, a 285/75/16 would be your best bet. You won't have any rubbing issues at all and it will fill up your wheel wells nicely. You will notice difference in power and what not because that is going up quite a bit in size, it equates to a 33x11.50. However if it is enough that you notice it just take it in to your local dealer and they can recalibrate your speedo. I have 285's and have my speedo recalibrated and I love the size, i actually might go up to a 295 or 305, you wouldnt want to do that unless you are gonna crank your t-bars though.

I did the same as you. I went from a 235/70/16 to a 285/75/16 and it was worth it! Looks a ton better.

I went with Uniroyal Liberators not the top of the line by any means but dropping over 5 bills for tires this was about all I could afford.
