Which upgrade Pads would you choose?
Been reading up on upgrading my brake pads and wanted to get the latest information from you guys. I have polished aluminum rims and it’s a lot of work cleaning the brake dust off them!!!
So which pads do you vote for as my upgrade? Keep in mind I wont be upgrading rotors at this time because low on funds.
I’m also taking suggestions on links to a place to buy them or feel free to recommend any other pad not listed. I just listed the ones below that seemed the most popular. (Thanks!)
Carquest (Raybestos) pads BLUE
AKEBONO
Hawk HPS
Wagner Thermo Quiets

i haven't upgraded yet, but am thinking that i will put stock rotors back on when i replace those and when i have to replace the pads, i have heard that the pads from the F250 fit and provide much better braking...

I'v had the Thermo Quiets for about 42,000 miles now and they are still holding up fine. I replaced the rotors about 12,000 miles ago due to bearing failure, and have had no problems whatsoever.

If you want your F-150 to stop like a sports car time and time again, go with these. And ****, for $530 you could rock all 4 pads and 2 new slotted rotors!!!!!!!!!!!!
