Harder to stop!!!
Harder to stop!!!
On my 97 I have been having trouble stopping I have new pads and rotors about 5 months old and I just changed the pads yesterday and bleed the brakes, but that was not the problem. I have full pedal, no shake no pulling.
How did the pads look that you took off? Not just they had some pad left, but when you put them together [pad to pad] are they even or is one end worn more that the other, is the back pad worn more than the front.
A little bit more worn on one side because one of the slides were struck but I freed and lubed it up and now works fine. Now when I hit the brakes they go down a little bit farther than normal, then I pump the brakes once and hold it the brakes come back to normal pedal height???
keep bleeding lol. i changed my rear flex line on my 97,, took me 4 times around to get all the air out and get good pedal. these trucks are a pain to when it comes to that. others have said the same. its a 97 so i assume you have rear drums right??? make sure they are adjusted properly as well.
you may want to invest in one of those suction bleeding tools. I havent yet used mine on my f150, but I used it on my ranger many a time and it made things crazy easy. It might get you that extra bit of bleed power that you need.
