usually happens when i roll of a light or from a dead stop a long almost like the brakes are draggin but theres no resistance its only happens when i start from a dead stop

 

is it just a quick squeak? Or is it longer / repeating?

It could be just that as you release the brakes and the rotors start to turn the brakes give one squeak as they are pulling back and the rotors are spinning.

Does it only happen in the morning and/or when the brakes are damp? Its not uncommon for any brakes to make a little noise when damp... some damp mornings when I back out of the garage it sounds like I run over a goose in the back.

 

Hey have you put new brake on lately? I put cheap pads and rotors on the wife van and sure enough they squeek alittle on aplication. Or do you have the black dust all over the wheels, make sure you wash it off.
