Power ?

I have a supercrew 4X4 with a 5.4 and 3.73 gears. I'm gonna put on 295/70/17 terra grapplers and need to know if I'll experience noticeable power loss. Thanks

Depends upon what size tire you have on there now. If you have 30" tires on there now and go to 33+" tires, yes, you will notice a difference. If you are going from 32" to 33+", then you will not notice it as much.
I currently have 30" on my truck now, and have 32" on order. I do expect a loss of power.

Yeah I went to 285 from 265 and really don't notice much of a difference at all....

So you are going from not quite 32" to just over 33". Probably will not have much difference.

It depends more on tire weight delta than size as well as driving style. Some people notice little changes, others do not. Most people do not notice 265/70 40 pound tire vs. a 56 pound 285/70, for example. I did.
