rims from o2 too 99

can fx4 rims off my 02 fit on my buddies 99 he was told they would not fit

yes, '97-03 all had 5x135mm bolt pattern.

Ford went from 12mm studs ('97-'98) to 14mm ('99-'03?) but the wheels will work OK. The wheels are hub pilot so the lugs are only holding the wheels to the hubs. (as compared to centering the wheels)

Right, he just needs to use lugnuts for his year model truck.

I have 2003 FX4 wheels on my 99 Expedition. I used chrome 12 mm lug nuts
for a Ford Lightning. Let me know if you need the part number. Good luck.
