It pretty much has to be the brakes - need more info though...

- does it shake on soft applies, hard applies, or all applies?
- Does it pull to one side?
- Do you have any weight in the back of the truck?
- Does the pedal vibrate at all?

The quick answer is that I would take it back to the place the changed the brakes and have them drive it / fix it.

it shakes everytime i brake, no it doesnt pull to either side, other than a spare tire in the bed no, which i no thats not enough to makje difference, the pedal shakes a little but its worse in the steering wheel... could it have something to d with the master Cylinder??

It isn't the master cylinder

It could be an issue with the proportioning valve? If you were putting too much pressure to the back wheels it could trigger an ABS event which you would feel in the pedal. This is just a theory, I don't know how likely it is.

I'd still just take it back to the dealer that did the work and have them drive it / fix it. If it happens on all the stops then they will be able to reproduce it and can't claim the problem doesn't exist.

you mentioned you feel it in the steering wheel. are you sure it's not the front? just asking, maybe i'm wrong and i'm sure someone here will correct me but i can't see how you would feel any rear brake problems in the steering wheel.

It sounds to me like the rotors are warped. (shimmy in steering when braking)
If you feel it in the rear too the drums/rotors could also be warped. Time for a break job? See if the rotors can be turned.

MY TRUCK HAD THIS!!!!

Your stock rotors are crap. Your stock brake pads are crap. The brake pads are not made to stop a truck this heavy and the stock rotors are not that good a quality so they warp due to the overheating. DO NOT TURN YOUR ROTORS!!! Turned rotors = Thinner rotors. Thinner rotors warp even easier. Napa Auto Parts sells some really good Bosch rotors for our truck and even the regular pads there are better than what came with it. Total I spent about $550-$600 dollars for all new front & rear rotors and pads. DO NOT forget the new spindle nuts for the front (this is only on the 4X2) as they are not reusable. I hope this helps out. Need any other help let me know.
