2.5 installed, what now???

i installed my 2.5 auto spring on my 2006 2wd. i am looking at getting tires in the next month or so and i was told by the auto spring guy that i could fit a narrow 35 on my 2wd. but i was curious if i kept my stock rims if i could fit these... super swamper 35x10.50R17LT SSR

http://www.intercotire.com/site34.php

and it is a radial tire so it should wear pretty good on the street. i was just wondering if i should order these or go with 33x12.50r17 nitto mud grapplers. thanks for any help

You need to be cautious of 2 things..(1) how big of a tire will the shop you go to mount on your stockers and (2) you probably don't want to go wider than a 12.5" tire as you may run into some rubbing issues. Do a search as there is a lot of information all ready out there on what you are debating on. Good luck!

Dude with a 2wd and only a 2.5" lift I would just run 33x12.5's on your stock rims. Trust me man a 35" tire will start breaking stuff and more than likely will rub when your suspension compresses in a turn. Its annoying!! I have a 04 4x4 with a 6" Pro Comp. I have 315/70/17 BFG A/T on 17x10 Weld Stonecrushers and I still had to trim off some plastic on the front bumper cause it was rubbing bad when turning. Just my opinion.

I'd go with a 33x12.50 or a 285/70-17 (33x11.50).
