Anyone with this setup? (MM 951's & Mickey Thompson ATZ)

Is there anyone out there running Moto Metal 951's (-12 offset 4.5" back spacing) and 305/60/18 ( 33x12.50) Mickey Thompson ATZ's?

What do you guys think about this setup? would they look too small, since they are only about an inch larger than the stock tires.

With a 2" AS would there be any rubbing AT ALL? I am thinking no but... you guys seem to be more experienced with this.

I have a 2007 4x4 screw with factory 275/65/18 rugged trails. I have seen the pics with 325/60/18's and I think they stick out a little too far for my tastes with the Moto Metals (with the 4.5" back spacing). And I want to avoid any trimming if possible.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

If those MM wheels are 9 inches wide, they will stick out 2.5 inches farther than the OEM wheels. That combo will probably fit without rubbing. The backspacing (4.5") is why the wheel/tire combo you mentioned sticks out so far. If you don't care for that look, go with a MM wheel with more backspacing.

Thanks for the reply Wandell. I know I saw this info somewhere on this forum (I am in "information overload" since buying my truck last week and reading these forums) but what is the offset and backspacing of my factory wheels. They are the 18x7.5's on a 07 4x4 lariat. Thank you.

Grubrunner,

I looked at your gallery and I think those stick out the perfect amount. I am assuming those are not the negative offset 951's. What size tires are you running?

The oem 17 and 18 inch wheels have 5.5 inches of backspacing.

Hey cannon, look at the following link.

http://mickeythompsontires.com/truck...=BajaATZRadial

They claim their LT305/60/18 is a 33x12.50 equivalent.

If you search the Mickey Thompson Website they are now making a 305/70 R18 = 35/12.5 R18. I just called today to get a price because i have not found them in the internet anywhere. 4wheelparts has them for $282 right now.
