Thoughts on this tire setup?

Hello, I have a 07 supercrew 4x4. I live in the Phoenix area and will be driving probably 85% on the street and towing a boat out to the lake, 15% off roading on desert trails and going camping in the forest, nothing too hardcore. I was going to go with 325/60/18 terra grapps on Moto Metal 950's or 951's ( I will be doing a 2" AS no matter what), but after thinking it over I am also considering 305/60/18 Toyo Proxes ST's. What are your thoughts on this? would I regret that decision?...putting that kind of tire on a 4x4. My wife has these on her SUV and they are a sweet tire. Thank you

I say get the Nitto's. The 325/60's on 18x9 rims will look sweet! Thats the setup that I have (different brand tire, though) I think that the MM's come in different backspacing options, I would recommend the closest to 5" of BS option. I think one option is around 5.16" of BS for the MM's. They will stick out a little, not too much IMO.
Welcome to the forums!

I agree. The Proxes will look odd on your truck.

Thanks guys. I also forgot to mention that I have the 3.73 limited slip diff, how would the 325/60/18 Terra Grapps affect my acceleration and towing. In addition, I am a Realtor and drive clients around, I don't want to make it too difficult for my clients to get in and out (my wife is 5'2" as well) and I don't like the look of running boards or step bars. Is there a noticeable difference in having to "climb" into the truck with that tire setup and a leveling kit? Also, how would the ride compare with my factory 275/65/18 Rugged Trails? Sorry for all of the questions, just want to make sure I get it right the first time.

It will be a little taller than at stock height, but not too much. The 325's are around 1.5 inches taller than the oem tires, so that is a .75" increase in actual truck height, and with the level kit, it will make it seem like you have to step an inch or so higher to get in to the truck (at least thats how mine felt)

Look at the tire manufacturer's sites for the exact heights. I don't think the 325/60-18's are that much taller than your oem tires.
