Opinions on Tires
I have a 2007 Screw 4x4 and I am looking to wrap my stock 20" wheels with a 33" tire (after the AS leveling kit).
Anyone have any opinions and/or experiences with either of the following:
Nitto Mud Grappler 33 x 12.50 R20
Toyo Open Country MT 33 x 12.50 R20
There is only around a $20 difference between each tire. My truck is my daily driver and will see very little off road.
I will leave the offroading to my other Ford...

Thanks!

go with the toyo m/t hands down...that mud grappler is going to wear down to nothing in months if your driving 95% of your time on the road...and they arent going to wear evenly at all either...the toyo is a proven performer as can definitely be noticed since many other tire companies have now released updated m/t tires that have very similiar tread patterns
i run the cooper discover stt and i love them...i have gotten great tread life out of them, they have a tread pattern alot like the toyo m/t, an aggresive sidewall that really stands out, and they perform really well offroad. best part is that you can usually find them for significantly less than the toyo m/ts. ive passed the 40,000 mile mark on mine and they still have life left in them, nowhere near bald but i will most likely replace them by the end of the year with another set of the same tires, only difference is i might step up to a 33 x 12.50 from my 285/70 i am running right now...i have nothing but praises for the tires. another tire to consider is the mickey thompson mtz, its one that im considering for my replacement tires to my current set. also there is also the all terrain options from both nitto and toyo, both companies have great all terrains that get rave reviews from pretty much everyone, i like to keep an m/t on my truck for when i get the itch to step off the beaten path and get the truck dirty to do a little fishing, but most people are much better off with an allterrain if they arent really going to be offroad much at all
i've been really pleased with my pro-comps M/Ts. most of my driving is on-road. they are relatively quiet, look aggressive, and have been wearing well. having said that, i'd trade them for the toyo M/Ts!! maybe consider the pro-comp Extreme A/T; it's a great tire (i'd avoid the regular pro-comp A/T).
