Getting new tires, just want to make sure...

Okay guys, I am about to buy some 285/70r17 Kumho Road Venture AT KL-78's.

So by doing a little conversion, I have found out that these tires should stand 32.708" tall. Is this correct?

Also I do have the 2.5 AS but I just want to make sure that nobody has had any rubbing problems with 33's.

Also just as a side note, if you or somebody you know used them, fill me in a little.

Thanx folks!

yeah it is basically a 33x11.50......you dont "need" a leveling kit, but its always nice to have one, just for looks, it looks a lot better with a leveling kit.

My cousin is on his second set of those tires, he likes them, got about 35-40k out of his first set.

the size you came up with is exactly correct. For a better idea go to Kumho's website and it will tell you exactly what they are. Not all tires brands have the same dia. in s given size. That calculation is to get you close.

I have the Nitto Terra Grapplers 295/70/17 and they do NOT rub at all. You will be fine. I am also running them on stock rims with no problems.

Got another question. Kumho also sells a MT that comes in a 35x12.5. Their website says it is 12.6" on a 10" rim. I still have stock rims. Would these work on my stock 17's?

Yes, if you install a leveling kit.
