i get 11.9 city. as for lockers i wouldn't think it would make a difference but people say 4:10's with 35's will give you better gas mileage. cheers

I installed 4.10's after riding around on 34" tires for years (325/70 16 = 34") and my gas mileage went up 2-3 mpg immediately after installing gears. Not to mention the grin factor from how enjoyable is was to drive my truck now!! If I could go back and do over, I'd never put bigger tires on a truck unless I budgeted for gears at the same time.

I should have mentioned my truck is a 4.6L (small v8) 5 speed manny. Thanks for the info it is appreciated. Right now i get 14.5 mpg. Galaxy what did u have under your 97 for lift and tires. i have the same truck except for stepside and your 97 looks good. also how much would the 4.10 gears cost after installation? Edwardsjr1 how much did the fabtech 7.5" run i was looking at the skyjacker 6" which is around 1,600 I would love to find the same hight lift for a cheaper price. If anyone knows of any i would appreciate it. Thanks
