Tread Depth

If a tire has 9/32nd tread left on it. What would that equal if you were going by a precent between 0-100. Thanks

I would need to know what brand/style of tire, and what the as new tread depth was before I could calculate the remaining as a percentage.

Looks like 16.5/32" new. This is almost half tread to bald, but many tires have significantly reduced performance at even 5/32". Remember, 3/32" is usually considered replacement time. Personally, I wouldn't even bother with the tires for free as you have to pay $60-80 to miunt them. I'd probably use them for 10k miles before replacing them due to poor wet and snow handling.

I wanted to put them on when I get the lift put on so I'm not riding on a 33 inch tire. After a year I would get new tires but for the time being until I saved the money. I would just put these on. What's everyones opinion?

It depends on how much driving you would do in that year if they would last until you got new tires. The ball is in your court as what to do

I don't do much driving. I drive my girlfriends car back and forth to work due to the distance and when she drives the truck its to work and that's only 1 mile away. I do drive the truck on the weekends tho but not heavy.
