I need some help.

Hey guys, i am looking into buying a set of wheels.
I have a 2wd 2007 4.6L XLT. The set i want has measurements of 6x135 bolt pattern - 20"x10" rim with offset of +44mm. It says on the site that they will only fit 4wd F150's... can anyone explain? What is the offset/pattern of my truck? Thanks for the help guys.

Your bolt pattern is 6x135mm. The backspacing on the OEM wheels is 5.5 inches. Do you know what the backspacing on those 20x10's is?

Offset is the difference between a wheel's mid point and the actual mounting point. Unless I have this backwards (very possible), a positive offset moves the wheel/tire inside the fender (toward the center of the vehicle). That would mean that the backspacing was 44 mm more than the mid point of the wheel. Mid point would be 5" on a 10" wheel, and 44 mm = 1.73" so the backspacing would be 5 + 1.73, or 6.73"

My guess is the wheel would rub the brake caliper.

Edit/add: Even if the caliper clears, the tire may set in so far that it rubs the suspension on hard turns.

thanks for the help guys, the backspacing is 7.125'', they are the rims off of fordracingparts.com, the ones on the FX2 Sport from Ford Racing that they debuted at SEMA (lightning prototype)... if anyone knows more about that drop a line. thanks.
