325/60R18 and leveling kit problem.
I have been hunting around here for awhile and yall have helped me out alot. I hang out on another Ford Forum most of the time but will start comming around here more often.
I have a 2006 F150 XLT 4x4 supercab. I had the 17" Chrome XLT rims and did not really like them. So I ran across some 18" FX4 Rims and tires for $150 so I jumped on it real quick. Well I just put the leveling kit on ( 2.5" AS and 3" Block) and have seen alot of people that were running the MT ATZ Radials 325/60R18 on the stock FX4 rim and it looked good (with no rubbing). Well I have had good luck with those same tires on a 2005 superduty we got and went ahead and bought them.
I took the truck today to get it aligned and get them to mount the new tires on the stock Fx4 rims and got a call saying that they had did one and when they sat the truck down the side of the tire was right on the upper A Arm touching it. So they said that they would not fit with these rims and my brother went by to look before they put the stock ones back one( I was workig and did not have enough time to get there) and said the little bit he could see they were cramed in there touching it pretty good.
I dont think it could of been anything they did to not make them fit but I dont understand why it works on other F-150s but not this one. So is there anything that yall cant think of for a reason they wont fit on this truck but will on others or are there any of yall running this set-up? If not I guess I am going to have to start shopping for some aftermarket wheels and if so what do yall suggest in a 18" (that wont rub with those tires) that isnt going to crap all up on me from the salt air(I live on the beach) but under $200.00.
Thanks guys and sorry for the long post.

That was the only thing I could think of also because they took the MT back off and put the stock tire on and then aligned it and said they werent going to try it again unless I gave them another $50.00 (so $100 just to take on and off a tire twice). So im not going crazy though that I saw some other people that had the same set-up around here. Is it possible that it would of been that out of line?
There are plenty of rims out there for <$200 each. I have the same size tires on 18x9 rims. They fit just fine with 5" of backspacing. 325's are a little wide for stock rims. My stock FX4 rims and stock tires only cleared my control arms by ~.75" Look for some rims with 5" of backspacing and those tires should fit fine. Let us know.......
Alright guys here we go. I found these wheels and wanted to check and see if these would fit alright on the truck with the 325/60/18
(33x13.50).

They have a 5" backspacing with +2mm offset and they are 18x9.
Thanks for yalls help. I most of the time stay away from aftermarket wheels if I can so I dont know to much about these sizes and what will fit
.
