backspace?

backspace?

if i get **** Cepek Mud Country 35x12.50x17 on Helo type 791 17x9 rims Would i want 4 1/2inch back space or 5 3/8? please help..urgent (order pending)

Definitely the 5 3/8". You still may have to trim some plastic, though.

ok now im confused on which one to get? i have an 01 f-150 extended cab XLT offroad edition. With these rims i am getting 35x12.50x17 with a 6" fabtech lift

That will be a nice combo. I just wanted to make sure you were not gonna try to fit 35's on a 9 inch aftermarket wheel without a lift. The confusion is on the year model. The 04-07 trucks need more backspacing than the 97-03 trucks. Your OEM wheels are either 16x7 or 17x7.5 with 4.5 inches of backspacing.

mine are 17x? assuming 7.5 going on what you said.. i'm positive they are 17's though. so going on that the lug pattern is 5x135 those rims would def work with those DC MC tires i mentioned? Also, cheapest i found those rims were $815 shipped and 220$ a tire..anyone recommened any sites?.. By the way, thanks for all the help, greatly appreciated

Yeah, you are right. That combo will look great. I'd suggest looking at 4Wheel Parts for prices.
