Should I change my rotors

I've got an 05 and am starting to get some squeel, not metal to metal but need to change out the pads. My front rotor is not 100% smooth but very slightly grooved (minimal). Would I be OK to just change out the pads without removing the rotors to replace or turn them? And I am guessing that semi-metallic pads are the way to go? Thanks

If there's only minimal grooving, you may be better to turn them. If the cost to turn them is close to a replacement cost, just get new ones.

If money is tight and the rotors are good then turn the rotors and get semi metalic pads and you will be fine. I have an 05 also and Im getting new rotors and pads all around, to me the stock rotors are garbage.
