Question Front tires developing scalloped wear

Hi, brand new to forum. F-150 1998 145,000 miles. Both front tires are developing a scalloped/cupped wear pattern on the inside and outside edges. Scalloping does not occur down the middle of tires. The scalloping appeared after approx 25,000 miles of wear on new tires. I just replaced all 4 shocks 2,000 miles ago. I do not want to just replace the tires, if they will develop the same problem again. Any suggestions?

With that many miles I'd start looking for suspension wear. Dead ball joints, Tie-rod ends, steering rack, BAD balance ect that is hosed.

If your scalloping both sides of the tire it's more then an alignment, the tires are oscillating on the spindle, meaning there is play (most likely along the turning axis) that should not be there.
