Hankook Gook

Hey...have those OEM Hankook P.O.S tires 235/75/17 on my 2007 rig. It's time to replace them at 4500 miles!! Thinking about 265/70/SR17...my question is how high can I go on that first number with the stock rims?

Thanks

We have a couple of members running 325/60-18 and 325/65-18 tires on the OEM wheels, but that is wider than recommended.

I share in your same pain with the Hankook tires but mine are up to 35,000 miles. You could probably go with 285/70/17 (33 x 11) on the stock rims or 305/65/17 (33 x 12) or 315/70/17 (35 x 12) but the last two options are a little out of the range to be mounted on the 17 X 7.5 rims you probably have. That should get you to a good "truck" looking tire instead of the Hankook's.
