Should I go with 305/45r22 or 305/40r22?? Will the 40 profile be a ruff ride. ANy suggestions or complaints??

You are only talking about a 1 inch difference in height. Basically a 33x12.50 tire vs. a 32x12.50 tire. My 305/45-22's ride great. Either will work fine. If you are never gonna lower the truck, I'd go with the 305/45-22's.
