need wheel help, I think I goofed

2002 supercrew 2wd Lariat. I ordered the fabtech 7.5 and 3"PA. But the problems I am having is the wheel back spacing of stock wheel to what I have bought. Fabtech says stock will not work, and a light just went off in my head reguarding the new angles of the A-arm and such with stock wheels.

The stock wheels are 17x8 with what back spacing?

I ordered 17x8.5 with a -6mm...this would be a 4" or 4 1/4" back spacing?

anyone have this set up with 17" wheels and if so what was your back spacing.

I am getting a little worried now............

sweet, that should move the wheel out 1/2". I am also a little concerned that the wheel and tire is going to look too narrow on this set up. Tires are BFG 315x70x17 A/T. I hope to get some before and after pics up when all is said and done. If I am reading everything here correct the 7.5" fabtech is an older lift that has been around a while, I would love to see some pics of others with the 7.5" plus 3" body on a 2wd.

Keep in mind the Fabtech lift is gonna widen your front track width a couple of inches, so you don't want to go with a really wide wheel.

Should the 8.5" wheel with a 4" bS be okay? Also that means the front will be wider than the back. I have been reading through the past 20 pages of post and learned a lot so far, but am I correct in sayin the 8.5" wheel with a 4" BS stick out 1/2" more than stock? The 315x70x17 BFG will add a little on top of that as well...........

I think a 17x8.5 inch wheel with 4 inches of backspacing will be ok. Those will actually stick out 1.5 inches farther than the OEM 17x7.5 inch wide wheels which have 4.5 inches of backspacing.
