Possible Warped Rotor

Is there any way to tell if a front rotor is warped without taking the rotor off? 2004 F150, no vibration when new. After about 40K miles have steering nibble and vibration at certain speeds (58 - 65). Same after new tires and wheels. Braking does not seem to be a problem, but did notice slight grooves in front OEM rotors. Pads at about 60% of life. Advice please!! If it is truely warped will having them turned fixed the problem or should I purchase new ones?? Thanks

You could take tham off and have a reputtable shop measure them to see if there's enough meat on them for resurfacing.......go from there.

You should feel pulsation in the pedal if they or any are warped, even a little. Sometimes this happens quick with the cheapo filipo rotors from past experiences but if it's a vibration just at that speed, usually a wheel is out of balance. You'd typically only feel a warped rotor under braking.
