Question Tire size????

Can anyone tell me what is the biggest tire i can fit on a 04 FX4.
I like the stock 18z and dont want to get rid of them, i have a 2" lev kit and the rest is stock. I heard it was a 285 60 or 65 18 but now im seeing people saying there putting on 35 12.50 18 on them stock, is this pos.? there dosn't seem to be much room between the upper con.arm and the tire,or even the rear shock. I would really only like to put 33 12.50 18 on it and also it be a mud ter.tire, any sugestions?

You can go with a 285x65x18, which is close to 33 inches or a 305x65x18, which is close to 34 inches. These will fit on your stock wheels and clear with your leveling kit. BFG makes these in a All Terrain.

60 is the aspect ratio. It has to do with the height. A 305/60-18 would work out to be a 33x12.50-18.

The 305's ought to look great on your stock wheels. You can squeeze 35's on with a 2 1/2" level kit but you run the risk of rubbing. Your truck can be aligned after the new tires are mounted, just keep looking around for a place that can do it.

Works for me

I have the Toyo Open AT's 325X60R18 on my truck.
According to website they are 33.6" tall and 12.6" wide.
I rub a little on the sway bar at full lock but no big deal.
58,000 miles and still pleanty of tred.
