Cooper Discoverer STT Tires???
im assuming you are talking about their new tire the KL71. it has great looks but from what im told by the local kumho dealer that is has a soft tread compound that results in short tread life. i was looking for mileage out of my tires which is why i went with the cooper STTs. I did see an 03 tacoma extended cab with the kumhos on 18s or 20s and it looked mean...like a 33 x 12.5 on a chrome 20, i had to stop and look twice, very clean
I have the Discover ST and I think they are pretty good tires, No problems with them at all, The STT's are a fairly new tire and from what people tell me there very good, good traction, self cleaning and they wear well

dont you have those tires on your truck
Dont want to burst your bubble, but a friend of mine has a set of 33x12.5 on his ford and they are absolutly falling apart, Two of them are really bad. Just chunks of the tire are falling off, it was weird cause we took a ride and you could actually here chunks flying off and hitting his wheel wells, needless to say he only had like 5,000 miles on them and he took them back to get his money back and he said he will never own another set of coopers. Not saying this will happen to you, but I know of one person that has had a time with them, and he never off roaded any in them, street only. Just thought you may want to know. I am sure people are like he must have had them on some rocks, but he has not. Sorry for the one bad post, but I would want to know.
