high pitch squeel while stopping

1996 F150 XL Short bed 4.9 I6

about 3 - 4 weeks ago I had the break fluid flushed and i use to have a problem where my break pads would squeel especially at stop signs going all the way to complete stop. They use to squeek about 6 months ago but then stopped and recently started up again. Do I need new break pads or what is wrong with my breaks? I don't want to go spend more money especially if it is un-needed.

first thing is pull off the wheel and see how gone the pads are. probably need new pads. put a pair of wagner thermoquiets on. ive never had a pair squeal on me. who did this brake flush??any decent mechanic woud have at least pulled off one wheel to take a look at the pads.
