6" or 4.5" Backspacing?

Hey guys, I finally locked down what I'm going to buy. I just need to know which backspacing set-up to get. Again, my rig is 2wd Screw with AS leveling. I dont want my tires sticking out crazy far, but I dont mind a little sticking out. The set-up is.. 18x9 Moto Metal 950 with 325/60 18R Terra Grapplers. The MM 950's are available in Offset: -12mm Backspace: 4.5 or Offset: +30mm Backspace: 6". Which size is best, so my tires aren't ridiculous, but will clear? I know my stock BS is 5" and the Wheel is 13" wide, so wouldn't 6" be the best? Thanks in advance... I can't wait to get this squared away!

The 4.5 will stick out pretty good, and probably rub. Go for the 6" BS. They will be pretty flush.

I think the 6" BS would be best. They should stick out about 1" more than stock. On your 2 WD it still may be close.

The backspacing on the OEM wheels is 5.5 inches, not 5. So, the 18x9's with 6 inches of backspacing are gonna stick out about an inch farther than the OEM wheels while the one's with 4.5 inches of backspacing will stick out about 2.5 inches farther than the stockers. Since you have a 4x2 with only a leveling kit, it is gonna be a tight fit with that tire wheel combo with the 6 inch backspacing. I don't think you are gonna be able to fit that combo with 4.5 inches of backspacing without more lift.

So the 6 inch backspacing will work, with a chance of light rubbing? It's going to look really disproportional isn't it?

You may also want to check out a 285x65x18, which is a 33x11.5x18. This is a narrower tire but may give you the extra little bit of clearance you may need. Just my 2 cent's!

I agree with PawPaw, I'm not sure you can fit a 325/60-18 with the 9 inch wide wheels with 6 inches of backspacing without serious rubbing. The 285/65-18's (33x11.50) would be a better choice.
As far as the look of the wheel with 6 inches of backspacing and how it will look in person, I don't know. I know what you are worried about. Some wheels don't look good if they don't have a deep lip. I think the 950's will look fine but I havn't seen one with 6 inches of backspacing.
