If the truck is lowered, I like 24's. If the truck is lifted, I don't like anything bigger than 20's, although 37's on 22's look pretty awesome.

Definitely go with the 22's, that's what I'm riding on right now. I'm just waiting on my 2" shackle kit to come in to level out the ride height.

or you could always go with 26's-let's face it the wheel openings are getting bigger for a reason...and my rims don't rub at all and just curious but do people really worry about how much tire can be seen-i agree it sucks riding on 30's cuz you have to drive slower but i'd feel embarrassed when a car pulls up at the light next to me and has bigger rims than my truck...

Although admitingly your wheels look super badass on there, i dont think i could take riding around on rubberbands like that.

Theres a line drawn between looks and comfort for me. Its not about how much tire is seen, but how much tire you RIDE ON. Rubber tires were invented for quite a number of reasons, otherwise we would all still ride around on oversized wooden spoke wheels with no tires.

I was going to originally get 24s cause i loved the look on these trucks, but settled for 22s because of the sidewall. Sure sometimes i wish i had gotten 24s when my truck is parked.... but then i get in and it rides damn near close to factory smoothness, and im happy with my choice.
Even if these trucks make wheels look a notch downsized.

Remember that wheels are the most depreciative thing on your vehicle except for the vehicle itself. And anyone with enough cash can bolt on big wheels, its about the subtle tastefull changes that we do to our vehicles that set us apart from others on big wheels.

If this POS pulled up next to me at a light i would not feel the least bit embarrassed and that thing is has nearly twice the inch size of my wheels....

as a matter of fact i would probably just chuckle to myself and hope that the stock front calipers and rear drums are stronger then God almighty so that monstrosity stops in time and doesnt hit me nor any other person on the road.

But on the original topic... 22s ride fine, IMO 24s look cool but you will feel the difference big time and well anything bigger you can ask the 26+ guys around here. Go 22s if you really want them or youll regret it later like wandell said.

It all depends the look you want buddy, But i'd say 22"'s I have 20"s on mine, but that's cuz I wanted a rugged look. 22"s with nitto's on my truck would of rubbed with out a lift, so i went with 20's. GOOD LUCK

in my opinion it depends whether you have a 4 wheel drive or 2 wheel drive and how often you are offroading
if it is a 4x4 then you should give it a 2.5 in coil spacer and run 20s on 33s
if it is a 4x2 then you should have 22s maybe even 24s on a low-pro tire
both would look good but it ultimatly depends on your style
if you are the type of person who wants people to look at your rims get big ones and low profile tires but if you want attention towards your tires (like myself) then get bigger tires and smaller rims
on my truck im runnin 16'' detatta rims on 33'' ProComp Xterrains
basically if you want people to look at it...GO BIG!

It all just depends on what your like not what the guy next to you has or what he thinks. Don't worry once you leave HIghScHooL, you can start living your life for yourself.

Sounds like you have it all figured out. Go give you life advice to someone that asked for it.

I have granite alloy 1.6 305/40/22s and it rides great and it was nice looking until i just installed the groundforce 9944 2/4 and it sits perfect. dont know if it would take 24s or not but i have seen the difference in stopping and taking off with 22s and thats has big has i would go. 20s are just to small. once the supercharger is done then hey its a whole different world but 20s on a truck are just to small. look at it like this even the new harley has 22s from the factory.

HEY MIKE8719 im looking at that same front valance from cervini and was just wondering how much ground clearance do you have. if you could tell me it would be much appreciated. i want one but scared that it will be to low to the street. its either that one or the roush but they are the same price lol and cervini is giving me lights roush is just giving me a name. thanks if you reply and how low is your truck. figured since im 2 in the front whatever you have i can just subtract 2 lol

I'd say it depends on the style of tire you want. If you want street tires, then go bigger, if you want off-road tires, then 20s might be fine for you.

I put 20s on my truck because I went with BFG A/Ts and I think it looks great.
