Another Beach Driving Q??

there is a guy already asking about beach driving and tire presure and my question coinsides with that with the exception of my tires. i have a 2006 fx4 but i have 20" rims and pirelli scorpion tires which are much more of a street tire. the problem is i love fishing and i use to have a toyota tacoma. that thing owned the sand, i never even let air out of the tires it was so light i didn;t always use 4x4. and now my f150 is just a bit heavier and i'm not sure how my set up will work on the sand and i'd rather not get stuck....that would suck. dose anyone else have this set up or know anything about it on the sand?

I have the 20's and Scorps and it'll do just fine in the sand. I usually drive along the beach here in Corpus every weekend and at times the sand can be real loose and wet but never even come close to being stuck. Always at 35psi and mostly in 2hi.

The key to driving in sand is to not spin the tires. If you take it slow until you build up some momentum, even stret tires will work in sand. But you all probably already know this.......i'm just bored
