Mickey Thompson Classic Locks....

I own a 05 F-150 reg. cab FX4 running the stock rims and tires. I believe the rims are 18 in. I want to get the Mickey Thompson Classic Locks 18x10. Here's a link to site http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/w...em=ClassicLock. My questions to the experts, what modification would I have to do with my truck?

what tire size are you wanting to run? that is where you get into your modification, based on width and diameter of desired tires

I ran the classic locks until recently (went to DC-1s for a change). Love them. As someone else said, what size tire? 33 is the diameter - how wide? I ran 13.5s with a 3" kit, no rub issues ever.

Those will work great with a 325/60-18 (33x13.00) tire and a 2.5 inch leveling kit.

Wandell, are you reffering to the MT Classic locks? Guys, I'm not sure of what width tire's to go with. Something to fit the MT Classic with some beef to give my truck that muscle look but yet with little modification. Any suggestions?

I enjoyed the 325/60 - it's tread is 50% wider than the stock tire tread and with the 10" M/Ts it hung out even with the factory running boards! A set of Bushwacker Pocket Flares hits the exact same line - looks clean, tight, and aggressive!
