I wanted to know if a 285/35 and a 265/35 had the same side visually. Id like to put 285/35/22's out back and 265/35/22's up front and before I bought I wanted to make sure the front 265/35's sidewall would not appear to be taller than the 285/35's. Get what Im saying? If anything, since Im going bigger in the back I don't care if the 285/35 has a tad bit bigger side wall.

 

The difference is 3.65" on the 265/35's compared to 3.93" on the 285/35's. It's up to you if three tenths of and inch makes that much difference. Hope this helped...
