Tire Size??

Alright well i am planning on buying some 20x10 or 20x9 Moto Metal 951s for my 06 xlt. But im not sure what the biggest tire i will be able to fit under the truck. The truck is stock but i might get a 2.5 level kit to get bigger tires but i dont know what the biggest size i could get with or with out the level kit. thanks for the help.

Do you have a 4x4 or 4x2? As a general rule, on the new 4x4 with a leveling kit you can fit 35x12.50's using the OEM wheels or 33's with aftermarket wheels. If you have a 4x4, I'd add a leveling kit and go with a 305/555-20 (33x12.50) tire.

If you install a 2.5 inch leveling kit and go with a 20x9 inch wheel with 6 inches of backspacing, you may be able to squeeze a 305/55-20 on there.
